The Book
TIAMTU is a photographic project that was completed in 2019. It’s a recontextualization of 6 years of black-and-white photography in order to create a new narrative.
The book takes the shape of a travel diary that recounts a fictitious journey undertaken by the narrator on the imaginary island of Tiamtu. Mixing photos, text, and mementos, the book presents itself as a portal into a past recounted by an unreliable narrator.
